Pokémon GO Shiny Pichu Confirmed Hatching From Yokohama Eggs

After Niantic released the shiny Pikachu and Mr. Mime in the Pikachu Outbreak, trainers also found out the shiny Pichu can also be hatched from eggs. However, just like shiny Pikachu, shiny Pichu can only be hatched from eggs that were picked up from the event venue.

Shiny Pichu Hatching From Eggs

As of now, Niantic only released 2 official shiny Pokemon that can be caught anywhere from the world. This is the shiny Magikarp which you can evolve into a red-colored shiny Gyarados.

Unlike the shiny version of Magikarp and Gyarados, shiny Pichu and Pikachu is a little more subtle. This is because their colors are almost similar from the original version. You’ll tell that it’s shiny if the color is slightly sunburnt.

Shiny Pichu Color Difference

As you can see in the screenshot above, the color between the shiny Pichu from the normal Pichu is almost identical. Just like what I’ve said, shiny Pichu, Pikachu, and Raichu have a slightly sunburnt color effect.

In addition, we would like to mention that if you evolve a shiny Pokemon in Pokémon GO, you’ll still get a shiny Pokemon in return. So this applies to the shiny Pichu evolved into shiny Pikachu and so on.
