Pokemon GO Halloween Event Confirmed; Generation 3 Pokemon Teased

Pokemon GO trainers may be about to say goodbye to the Pokemon GO Equinox event, but the upcoming Halloween event for the game has just been confirmed and announced by The Pokemon Company International on their website.

According to the original post:

October is here, and that means one thing: it’s time to start gearing up for Halloween! To help celebrate this spooky season, we’ve gathered together all the frightful fun that we’ve been working hard to bring you. Where will you go first? Make your choice, and prepare for a hauntingly good time!

Right after posting this article, they teased players to the Ghostly Goodies in Pokemon content just before Niantic made their official announcement.

Quoted from their post:

The Halloween season is a special time in Pokémon GO. Plenty of good stuff is coming to the game later this October, and we can’t wait to get out and about to see what sort of excitement we can scare up while catching new Pokémon to fill out our Pokédex.

By simply looking at the highlighted text from the quoted post, it seems like the newly discovered Generation 3 Pokemon in Pokemon GO earlier this month will also be coming.

Although we are not sure about this things, we believe that Niantic will be having a small launch for the Generation 3 Pokemon. In our opinion, Niantic might release some Generation 3 Pokemon that can be associated with the Halloween event. Some of these Pokemon are Banette, Duskull, Dusclops, Shuppet and many more.

In addition, there’s a big chance that we could also see the increase in spawn rate of some Dark-type Pokemon from both Generation 1 and 2 Pokemon.

Aside from the highlighted text above, we also believe that releasing the Generation 3 Pokemon could be one of the promised Three Major Updates this year. We already saw the two major updates, the release of Generation 2 Pokemon and the Legendary Pokemon.

Niantic still don’t have any official announcement about the upcoming Pokemon GO Halloween event and Generation 3 Pokemon, so stay tuned for more new information.
