A few days ago, a player discovered a bug in Pokemon GO which affects the capture rate issues using the last premier ball. During that time, lots of trainers are contradicting about this claim. However, after submitting a bug report to Niantic’s support team, they acknowledge the bug and at the same time, they announced a temporary solution for the issue.
Temporary Solution For The Last Premier Ball Bug
If you haven’t heard about this bug, let me explain it. What this bug does is preventing the players from catching a Pokemon when using the last premier ball available after the raid. Meaning, no matter how a player feeds the Pokemon with Golden Razz Berry or Nanab Berry and even using the curveball and getting an excellent throw, it will never allow him to catch the Pokemon.
Quoted from Niantic’s Known Issues page:
Last Premier Ball fails to capture the Raid Boss
We are actively working to resolve an issue where the Raid Boss always breaks free from the last Premier Ball available. To counteract the effects of this issue, Pokémon GO will temporarily grant an extra Premier Ball in the Bonus Challenge.
Unfortunately, Niantic will not provide any refund or compensation affected by the bug. It is because the last premier ball glitch was a global effect and not only a single person.
